DDR in Action
Well, what does this DDR stuff look like anyway ? I have gathered in this page pictures and videos to illustrate the game, and especially network play !
First, a bunch of pictures from my time as a student, when I cared about a Dance Dance Revolution club in my school. Our specialty was to organize DDR events with four PCs, eight mats, big sound system and a giant screen to get the party started. Using Stepmania Online we had eight players dancing simultaneously, this is a real blast ! Thanks to dedicated DDR fans the club is still there four years later and the DDR events are pretty successful.

Focus ! Focus !

Everybody is a bit confused at the beginning.

The club staff configuring the computers.

Here I am, burning he floor ! (or not...)
And here is a little video. And these from other events : wei2004 , kes2004.
Please remember that these guys are newcomers, do not bother to write me you are far better :D
If you are looking for serious stuff, the following is for you, pro gamers playing Score or Style. These are separate kinds of DDR contests. Score is basically about hammering the mat as fast as possible to pass ultra fast song which really look impossibles to the regular guy. Style is usually played on easier songs, and this more an "artistic" rating.
